I'm thinking of adding an external display to my 15" AlBook. Been eye'n Apple's 22"/23" displays, waiting for prices to come down. Does anyone here have this kind of set up? Are there any problems with the PowerBook graphics card being able to handle both displays?

I typically use the 23" display with my G5, but I've connected it to my 15" AlBook on a few occasions without any problems.

i think that requires a DVI to ADC adapter, too.. you might want to figure that into the cost.

Yea, I've thought about doing that since Jan. But I rather wait for the new updated displays.

I have been using my PB 12' rev B with a 17' TFT quite some time without any problem... until the LCD got that "nasty dim bug"...
It is true that you need an DVI to ADC adapter.
On the other side I once hooked the PB to an older Apple 20' Multisync CRT and it was not capable of driving it at a decent resolution.

Have used a 23" HD Cinema Display through an Apple DVI-to-ADC adapter on a 17" & 12" PB and both worked flawlessly in screen spanning
