My car has a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder and a 5 speed manual transmission, it is actually very clean for an internal combustion engine. Plus since June 2003, I've only driven 8,500 miles in it.

PS: Nice wagon! I've always liked that design, though the drivetrain leaves a bit to be desired. Needs ab it more oomph. What kind of mileage do you get? I'd look for a wrecked mazdaspeed protege to swap the engine into that wagon.

One for my left foot and one for my right.

Works very well. But I need to change twice a year though...

Thanks! I get about 32MPG hwy and 27MPG City, but I have a leadfoot! Funny that you suggested finding a wrecked Mazdaspeed motor. I found a website that sells Japanese spec engines... 200+ hp! that's going to happen, its just a matter of when

No ride - I can walk most everywhere I need to get to for day to day stuff (a small and under-appreciated benefit of being a student).

If I can't walk there, I'll take the metro.

Cool....but that seems like too much work. The mazdaspeed protege's make over 200hp, and they're here in the states. 130hp is just..eh... pretty weak for a wagon that size.

PS: I don't drive much either. I used to, but now I car pool to work, so my SVX just sorta sits around and hangs out, waiting for the weekends. Even then I walk most places, since I live downtown.

2000 Chrysler 300M. Pretty nice car. Actually gets pretty decent mileage, considering it's classified as a sports sedan. Got a great price for it, too (dealer screwed up and thought we were negotiating for a car with a lot fewer options).

Since I live in sprawl-land (aka Iowa), a car is pretty much a necessity. I'd love to live someplace like SF with decent public transportation and the ability to walk most everywhere, but that's just not an option in Des Moines.

My first car! i just got it about a month ago. My birthday is March 16th so I'v only had my license for about a month. It was my mom's until i got my license, now it's officially mine. It's a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Only 13.5 miles per gallon when I'm driving, 16.3 when my mom drives.

I still drive this S-10 Chevy pickup. Shown banana-shaped in these images. Homeboy in white Ford pickup was intoxicated. Tried to flee the scene, but was stuck. Neighbors wrestled the intoxicated driver from the truck and held him until police arrived.

Just got my license, so I drive what was my father's '94 Ford Ranger. Sometimes I get to drive my mom's '00 Subie Outback Wagon though (which I love a whole lot more – decent clutch, light shifter, no axle hop, and a really nice interior). I don't have any pics though… I wish I had a pic of the Subie though, because right now it has muddy baby raccoon prints all over the hood.

1988 Beretta (not of actual vehicle):

I hate it. It'd be better if I put money into maintaining it, but as it is now, it's a POS and I don't like driving it because I expect the wheels to fall any day now.

But I drive it maybe once every two weeks. I walk to classes everyday. It just gets me home when I need to.

You're parents gave you a 4 year old SUV? They outta be slapped.

Rule #1, don't give your kids a car, especially right after they turn 16. Let them borrow a granny car so they can get to work and make enough to buy their own car. Granny cars are good incentive. Out of all things to give your children, a car is not one of them. It's the first milestone purchase for a child that helps them learn to fend for themselves. I could be Bill Gates and my children would have to get rides from the housekeeper.

Rule #2, don't give anyone an SUV. Don't let anyone buy an SUV. Don't look kindly at anyone who bought an SUV.

I drive a '96 Corolla. My parents gave it to me 4 years ago, they are old and don't drive anymore. They gave it to me to be fair becaused they financialy helped my sister a lot over the years. I'll probably have the Corolla 'till it dies. I'm not into cars, even if I can afford a much nicer car. If it was not for the gift I would still use the bus.

Actually it is. See, you're a dumbass noob who think's he's making fun of ricey cars, but in reality you have no idea what you're talking about. That isn't a big riceboy WING, it's a spoiler, which SPOILS the airflow. Like dimples on golf ball, it disrupts the airflow on the back end of the vehicle, causing turbulence which actually decreases the drag of the vehicle. The stripes were factory installed, and hark back to chrysler's roots, they arne't some riceboy add-on. Nice try, go play with your barbies.
