VERY cool. I love those little hats. Still got the one my daughter wore the first couple of days.

I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head.

My mom said she still had mine from when I was born. I asked her if I could have it and said "You can have it when I am dead. You'll understand later".

I think I already understand. But probably not completely.

Thanks.

Will do.

She already makes the kinds of noises that make me want to protect her her whole life.

AWWWWWwwwwwwwww...

She really does look like a little girl, too, with that mouth. Some babies you just can't tell, but not with her...

GOOD JOB TO YOU AND YOUR WIFE!

When my mom died, we found the nametag in her handbag that I wore round my ankle in the hospital.

She always had it with her - for twenty-three years!

My friend, whose little boy is just over a year old, told me the other day that he'd never believed it was possible to love *so much*.

I envy him.

Congratulations! She is a cutie, a real keeper!

Congrats Kilbey! I'm sure you'll be very happy.

Now... nobody take this personally but I just don't find newborns in general to be "cute". Infants can be cute and todders are almost always cute but not newborns. Am I weird for thinking that?

The insurance is bought and paid for. REALLY I hope I don't have to use it.

Defective or not, this kids gonna get all the love I have to give.

As Spheric Harlot sated about his friend, I had no idea how much love I could have for someone. I am learning that in the last few days. I am also learning that love is not a finite thing. It can grow. Exponentially.

Good thing she's a keeper, because I don't think her mom would be thrilled with the thought of the "return policy"....Ouch!

Just do yourself a favor:

- Read the Manual
- Keep the Reciept in a safe place
- Write down the tech support number (when calling, always write down the case number)
- Make sure insurance covers parts AND labor (could save you big bucks later).
- Keep all packaging material
- LoJack may not be a bad investment.

Congrats.

She's a day over 3 weeks now.

Here's a picture I snapped this morning:

Her biggest smile yet. She was sleeping.

There are a lot of theories about babies and smiling. Most say a baby doesn't know what it is doing and it was just luck that the muscles all worked together to make it look like a smile.

I like to think she's happy.

Julia Francis. Her middle name is a tribute to my late grandfather.

However, there was a mistake with the birth certificate person at the hospital and her social security card arrived today with the name "Julie". My wife is quite pissed at this and we are working to make sure her name gets corrected.

Thanks for the cute kid compliment.

But the picture is just about everything that annoys me in life:
I am bored to tears with NASCAR. I'd rather watch women's volleyball... anything over NASCAR.

I hate car badges. I take off all of my cars badges soon after I buy them. I am NOT an advertiser for other people's stuff.

Same for the button.

I do NOT wear sunglasses. I paid a lot of money for LASIK surgery and the last thing I want to do is wear sunglasses to look cool. If I am on vacation and plan to be out in the sun a lot though, I'll buy a cheap pair to protect my eyes from ultraviolet rays. And I'd never own a pair of glasses like those!!!

I have excellent teeth. Very white and perfectly straight. I brush twice a day and floss once a day. My wife has OCD about her teeth and flosses and brushes after every meal and snack.

BAD photoshop skilz my man. I understand it was probably a rush considering our recent debates, but take a little pride in your work!

And my daughter will NOT work at GM if I have anything to say about it. Most GM factories are very bad places for women. They get treated like trash, and it is not a good environment for wholesomeness. It is still quite the "old boys club", even in engineering. Now, if she wants to follow my footsteps and enter product research and development engineering, I will fully support her in that. Actually, no matter what she does i will try to support her, but I just don't want her to ever work in a factory.

Once again, your stereotyping and labeling has let you down. Try not to let your prejudices hinder you too much in the future.

obligatory smiley

Rob likes to dig up old threads. It's his vanity.

I will admit that the one old thread was brought up by my because it was an update and there was no need to start a new thread.
