Someone fixed the subforum bans within the last week or so.

Historically, several people asked for PWL bans so PWL threads would not appear in search results. Also, to avoid temptation. If you desire such a ban, post below.

There have been a few complaints about the News posting integration, mostly that it fills up Search results. Also, adding NewsPoster to the Ignore list does not produce the expected result. A ban from the News section is the only solution we've got today. If you want one, post below.

Yeah.

Abe's posts in the Political Lounge (though not just there) - and the responses by the guys who never actually post anywhere else - are causing me acute brain shrinkage.

I realize that if I'm banned from there again at least until Abe's election campaigning subsides, this place will seem as dead as everybody claims, but it's worth not dealing with that crap.

Please lock that cesspool, the PWL, from me.

Thank you.

I'll take a News section ban. I have a feeling the forums will suddenly feel very dead like before the "upgrade" once it hits.

Logically, it's reinstatement of a previously standing ban that was suspended due to technological limitations.

Actually, if Abe's previous ban from the PWL is reinstated there, don't ban me.

You said the post was removed. As in no longer exists.

Edit: ooooh, I see.

Hey, hey, hey, no revisionist history, Mods!

---

Logically, if a feature that precluded banning abe from the PL (as questionable as that logic was within itself) has returned, shouldn't the ban as well?

As you wish.

---

I know of about 5 voluntary PWL bans, the rest were stale by an average of 4 years. Sometimes a reset isn't a bad thing.

You may want to read the PL comments being made about the current active reset, then.

You banned me from the News forum – bless your heart. Everything I see is legit activity again.

I'll take my PWL Ban again, between general election-time fervor and Abe's return there is nothing for me there.
