i don't think that rumor is true..
apple may be holding back current orders so that they'll come with panther, but that would lead to an end of october/early nov. delivery..
why should apple stop production on a gadget just released? problems with the 15"ers can be solved by adjusting the factory-process.. you wouldnt wanna stop all of them machines just for some minor tweaks..

I haven't seen anything else to that effect, but my 15" order keeps getting pushed back. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up in November. I guess then it would come with Panther on it.

I was in a local resellers shop last night and we were discussing the screen issues on th 15 inch. He mentioned at that point that apple was no longer shipping them, I wondered what he was talking about.

Doubtful.... the only thing Apple might have done is switch part numbers to signify Panther pre-installed //B instead of //A
|
