I didn't buy an xBox until October of 05. While there are good games on the new systems, most are not my style. I do like the shooters I've played on the 360 and like Live alot. However, I'm an RPG fan, especially MMORPG. If they can come out with one that interest me more than Fantasy Star, and it doesn't cost me a monthly fee, I'll bite.

I'm still doing good with my PS2. I don't feel the need to shell out the money for any of the new consoles.

How about "I don't want one" "I want one but can't find it", "I want one but it is too expensive".
Stupid way to go about a poll man.
Next time try "Do you own a car". If enough people answer no it must mean because cars suck and are expensive.

I agree the poll should have had more options, but no worries.
What this means is that Microsoft can drop the price on the 360 (which has just started making money on hardware sales, last I heard) and reap HUGE benefits, especially if they're able to bring it down to $300 and say, "The best configuration of the 360 costs half of what the PS3 costs!" That kind of thing makes an impression on consumers, especially when they're not yet interested in HD-DVD or BR and just want to play games.
And no, a yearly subscription to XBox Live is not going to be going through a consumer's mind when taking all of this into account. Sony has got to find a way to drop this price BEFORE mid-2008.
By the way...I finally saw a Wii available for purchase yesterday. I was astounded.

in most cities cars a necessity ps3s are purely luxury items. no one NEEDS a ps3.

in my case without a car, i'd have no way to get to work. without work, I'd have no funds, without funds I'd have no food or shelter.
