Hey, I'm running SETI as a cronjob, or at least I think I am. I set it under root users crontab using Cronnix. How do I tell if it is actually running, or do I just pray?

Got to Applications -> Utilities -> ProcessViewer

This utility will show what is using CPU at the moment, SETI should be among the top 3 most of the time.

Yeah..so umm..I followed the directions on the team.macnn site for setting a cronjob via Cronnix, followed them exactly, have a cronjob set for the lower level user, and the root user, neither are running. I think I might have a newer version of Cronnix, because my prog doesn't look exactly like the one in the screenshots.

Me too. I've installed Cronnix and followed the instructions on this website and it does not execute Seti. I'll continue doing it manually until a solution is found.

The SETI cron instructions definitely work up to 10.0.4, it sounds like they broke under one of the 10.1.x updates. I'll get 10.2 within the next couple of weeks and will test further at that time.

Scott has 10.1.x and may turn up a solution sooner. Suggestions are welcome.
