I've got two svcd's that I want to play on my stand alone dvd player (Naiko N1170). They work on other ones but not it. Is there any way I can extract the video so I can maybe put it into a more appropriate format?

Thanks

Pretty easy to do. I use a program called vcdtoolsX. You first need to make an image of the disk, change the extension to .bin and then use the program to pull the .mpg file out. From there you can convert to your liking.

hope this helps.
