Has anyone gotten any deals today? In anticipation of the cyber monday holiday Ive been following the prices on a few sites, and what I found was many of them are listing items for normal price on cyber monday, but claiming the products are discounted by say 50%~; by placing a crossed out price thats twice as much as the normal price next to the item. What a gimmick.

I've been watching for deals too. While I'm seeing markdowns, they aren't very far below prices a month ago.

That's the big issue with cyber monday/black friday. It's so common at this point for them to start jacking up prices a few days before (or if they're online, claiming that prices were higher) with the ultimate motive of making it sound like you got a much better deal than you did.

The only place I found this year where I could get a deal was Fresh Trends, which is a body jewelery retailer. And that's just because I think they're trying to clear out old stock before the holiday shinies arrive.

I bought a stack of Intel SSDs from Newegg, they're priced well (480GB for $205), there are some 240s left.

Wow, that is a good deal. Amazon has them for $400+.

I bought a bunch of perverted gifts for my wife, and a 50" Sammy for me for when she's asleep.

But there are some deals out there, just have to check everywhere and compare.
