Clear menu bar error, help!

OK basicaly here is the error, or problem I am geting:


(look at the edit menu) why does that happen and how can I fix it? I've looked at all the menubar resources I can find (extra options enaled) so does anyone know where it is so I can make it disapear?

I had this error, too, but it went away after I quit and restart the app.

Well that doesnt work, as it happens every time a root menu option is inactive, no matter what app. It happens on other machines to, I realy am lost on this one.

That's odd, Smeger usually appears out of nowhere when such problems occur...

Have a look at the inactive root menu caps and the masks that go with them. This is the only advice i can give you right now.. Otherwise email Smeger on this one...

well it isnt the caps, as the caps are rounded, and the error is squared. anyway I made every possibility that wasn't core to the menu highlight working normaly 100% see through but no change, It's completley thrown me, I might email him and see what he says.

Looks like Aqua Root Menu Item (Caps) has a bad mask. Send your images to Photoshop and make sure that they're what you think they are. Also, you should probably set the Clear and Graphite ones to the same as Aqua.

Another one to check is Menu Background Selected.
