Anyone have any more info on this? I need to print Pages and Keynote documents from an iPad. Anyone hear if AirPrint will support printing from Pages and Keynote on the iPad?

I don't know about Keynote, but I've seen Pages on the screen for AirPrint product photos.

Cool, you remember where you saw it? It's for my school and the students need to print their work from pages. Any link would be helpful.

This talks about the feature in more detail, but doesn't specifically address Pages:

AppleInsider | First look: AirPrint wireless printing with Apple's iOS 4.2

But I'd imagine that's how Pages will interact with it, along with any other app.

I did notice that it won't support TCP/IP printers, which could be an issue.

There is a section in the official Apple website indicating the printers that are functional with AirPrint. I've seen the list and let me tell you that the list is short. There aren't much printers out there that are AirPrint enabled. Which sucks. But in due time I am sure Apple will add on to the list.

Because they apparently have a deal with HP... Not at all cool, but that's what seems to be the case.

Not cool at all is an understatement. How many people are going to buy a new printer just to print from iPad?

I tried it today and someone in the building has a newer HP that the iPad saw. However no one knows where this mythical printer lives or who owns it. When I find out I can tell that person they are out of paper though.

Maybe they're out of paper because of all the other iPad/iPhone users who "found" their printer...

Download AirPrint Hacktivator for Mac - Activate AirPrint by adding or removing the required files. MacUpdate Software Updates and Downloads for Apple Mac OS X and iPhone
Works great on my iPhone :-)
Still mystified why Apple didn't enable this for any printer?
My canon is attached to my time capsule, just installed the hack deleted the printer and reinstalled it, turned on printer sharing and bingo.
Scared my girlfriend by printing from sofa whilst she was sat at computer :-)
