Hello,

We are offering an aluminum iMac 20" 2.0 C2D/1GB/250GB which is in immaculate physical condition however has a dead display. The machine boots with the chime and will also boot into target disk mode just fine however the display stays completely black. No idea whether it is a faulty display or deeper level issue as we suspect the machine was subject to a power surge. Apple warranty expired in February so there is no coverage for repairs. This sale includes the iMac only - no keyboard, mouse or other accessories.

$400 + shipping of your choice. PayPal accepted.

Any chance you can boot that machine attached to an external display? If not, can you boot it, and see if you can Screen Share via the network?

Hi AK,

I don't have a video adapter for either my VGA or DVI display so an external has not been tested. I will try across the network this evening and post back. As I mentioned, I did boot it fine in TDM and recover the hard drive, which worked perfectly.

Hi Chipchen,

Looks like, based on a guess of 35#, UPS came in at around $45 and Fed Ex was $40. These are both ground rates.

Thanks!
