hi, i need to know are there any free word processor out their for osx, it needs to be able to set margins, double space, and use my fonts, i have appleworks for os9, but don't have os9 0n my iBook, there for i cannot upgrade it for osx use, i have office for classic as well, but once again, no os9 on my ibook, and i really don't want to reinstall os 9 on my ibook just to upgrade these programs for osx.
are there Any free/freeware word processors for osx, can anyone help me?

Jaguar's TextEdit would suffice for very simple text documents, but you could also try Okito Composer, or if you don't mind using XFree, Abiword or OpenOffice, which are very good open source word processors.

Well, it's not free, but it's cheap..and it works well.

ThinkFree Office contains Word, Excel and PowerPoint alternatives for $50.
