I am a frequent user of Gmail chat and today when I tried using it in Safari today it was not working? Any ideas?

It doesn't even work in Safari 3 beta, which is quite pathetic really. It even works in IE5 on Window's doesn't it? At least Safari now supports the text editing features of Gmail. Google Docs seems to be working in 3 beta though.

Not working yet in Safari 3, but I'm sure Google's on it (and will hopefully have it working for Leopard's release). Personally I just use Adium for my Google Talk needs (you can also use iChat through Jabber).

Its a known bug that is also flagged in Apples internal bug tracking system so I expect that it will be resolved at some point.
