my 8600 upgraded with a PowerForce G3 400 runs great on Jaguar. I have a 4MB Twin Turbo and 256MB RAM with two 2 gig hard drives.
it installed flawlessly and runs incredibly fast. It actually runs just as fast (if not a bit faster) than my 500 iBook.

good to hear...

I'm impressed with Jag's performance on my TiBook, and I was wondering if I should attempt an upgrade on my 8500 (which now runs 10.1.5 as an apahce web server). After the install, I'll perform the hack to enable QE on PCI graphics, and I should be set!

*sigh*

If only my 8100 could run Jaguar.

Actually, I'll probably one day pick up a used cheap second gen iMac or a Beige G3 to use for a server or backup. I saw them going really cheap on eBay a while ago. I mean cheap as in Monitor included for only a couple hundred.
