Hope this has not been covered already

OK...I have a BlacBook, but it just may be me. Does anyone notice a "flash" on your screen just after depressing the power button on your MacBook? There is a Flash just before the start up sequence begins.

mine always dose it on wake up from sleep. BTW, I have the white one. havent noticed it on restart.

Mine does the same thing, but I'm not really worried about it.

I am not too worried....just never seen this on a mac before. Wanted to know how common it is,

mine does the same thing, so do the other ones here at the mac store I work at...I don't think it's a big deal, or anything to worry about.

My Qosmio does the same thing, I think its common on most laptops.

I concur. It certainly wasn't the first time I'd seen it when I closed and opened my new Macbook's lid.

Interesting...My TI PowerBook does not do it.
