If you know what I mean, you know what I mean and I bet you're cursing me for reminding you of that melody. Sorry.

"sakana sakana sakana, sakana o taberu to
atama atama atama, atama ga yoku naru..."

I've been trying to find a copy to play it so I could get it out of my head. (Screwed up attempt at reverse psychology - I'm willing to try anything )

If you got any pointers or - gasp - a copy, much appreciated,

J

Yeah, I think I know the one you're talking about, ot little kid singing in it, kinda catchy in a sort of I want to cut my throat after hearing for 5 minutes.

Not got a clue who it's done by though, think it's Japanese.
"Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like tea. Now you put tea into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put tea into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now tea can flow, or it can crash... Be tea my Friend..." -Bruce Lee and Erilaz

A song about often eating fish?

I have no clue what the original poster is talking about, but I think it has something to do with this guy...

Never heard of it, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with Hung. He's not even Japanese.

The song is Japanese, was played there a lot in 2002 or so, but I kept running into it last fall, too. In supermarkets, at restaurants, on the street, on TV - everywhere.

It's an 'eat- fish' promotion song for kids by some fish distributing organisation. Do Japanese need to be reminded?

And I found it. It won't do much for you through casual play first, just another kiddy tune, but having been subjected to it subtly, repeatedly on a daily basis, I'm an altered man.

Grab a copy, if you're interested.

You get Japanese TV?
I've seen it once at a friend's place with the same effect ...

This was during my travels in Japan.

There is Japanese programming available thru satellite in Europe by JSTV, tho and I've been meaning to check it out, but haven't yet.

I don't have a TV of my own (because I don't have one at home), so I ran into it quite late.

Speaking of Japanese music...

Anyone know the name of that Japanese track (at least it sounds like Japanses) that is played in that Honda Civic commercial? The commercial I am referring to is that one where there are various fast clips of people washing their civics at a Do-It-Yourself car wash?

I am sure someone here knows that tune...

Perhaps not...
