It must be nice to have money to throw away on such luxuries as a second (third?) computer just to play with.

Oh My Dear Sweet Lord

You know we've got him and he's totally surrendered to the RDF when you title a story that way.

It's crazy to think that Apple's lappy will have dual cores in them running the greatest OS in history(to this point)with all the iApps and everything else that makes the platform so great. It still has yet to hit me that they're going Intel. I guess it will settle in when I get to actually play with one.

(finally, the teh snappy is built-in)

Tell me about it. And to think, all that it took was a surrender to the idea that personal length can be measured in MHz.

And before you get after me on this, take a good look at Tycho's article. He openly admits it: all it took was dual-core and "some modern goddamn clockrates" to convince him.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

Someone's still steaming.

I think if Apple were to continue using PCC he would never considered the switch—or should I say the hop—to Apple systems.

In some bizarre way, I feel like they're taking a step closer to me by utilizing a traditional PC component.
