Recently, when I start up Classic in X (I have 9.1 on the same partition as X and all alone on a second partition, which I don't use for Classic) I get a message that says that a CABO II USB drive can be used because I'm missing the appropriate software. I vaguely remember this happening under non-X versions of Mac OS, but I did a search of the forum and can find nothing on it. Any ideas?

Here I am answering myself, but it might be useful to someone else. I checked the System Profiler and discovered that the Kensington VideoCam that I have connected to a USB hub was the culprit. When I copied the extensions for it from the 9.1 partition to the X partition's 9.1 extensions folder and restarted Classic the warning disappeared.

The odd thing is that I'd had that camera hooked into the hub all along, but suddenly the warning kicked in. Very strange.
