Under the Apple Menu, my Recent Applications, documents and servers don't work. I can go and get an old application but it never gets updated with new ones. A while ago I went in the recent apps folder , took all the aliases and trashed them. This might have caused my problem. I'm running 9.1 on a Tibook with all most recent software updates.
You probably disabled or deleted the Apple Menu Options control panel. If it is disabled, you can restore it using Extensions Manager. If you deleted it, install it from the system software CD, or extract it with TomeViewer.
