-have each person pick their top 5. i know there's no way i could choose just one as my favorite. then, whichever has the most picks wins.
-have each person pick their top 5 ranked. a little more complicated, but might work better.
-are you going to refer people to that page for voting? or put them inline? if inline, use numbers instead of user names when referring to them.
Sounds pretty good to me, especially option 2. I would find it pretty darn hard to pick just one.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

We need another one, not nature. I didn't get to enter this one because the weather didn't cooperate. I waited 'till the last week and it rained everyday.

Depends how you look at it. Rain is just a different condition, with different photographic opportunities. I've taken a few good pictures on rainy days. Of course, you do have to worry about not getting the camera wet.
Urban sounds nice, if anyone wants to do another. I can think of a few in my portfolio (ha!) that would be worth entering.

I'm sure you would have little trouble finding classes in NYC. As well as the universities, museums will sometimes offer classes. It's a great hobby.

Anyone have any opinion on my photo? I thought it came out pretty interesting, if you look close, you'll notice there was another kid hiding in the shadows. (PS, next contest, there should be a way to post comments on each photo as they come.)

If you can wait, I received two more submissions at the last minute. I won't be able to put them up until I get home from work. Sorry.

waxcrash, not need to apologize. You are the one putting the efforts in organizing the contest, you are the one calling the shots.
You are doing a great job!!

It will be interesting to see the different opinions here. Would be more interesting to get the results from the poll and compare them to opinions from professional photographers as well....see if there is any difference.

Do any of you know anybody selling a Canon D30? Body only or with lens is ok.
