My friend has the last Powerboook before it was switch to the macbook pro. My friend does video editing in Final Cut pro. He is looking into getting a larger external harddrive (Western Digital 1T drive). He would like to import his footage from his cam,era by USB and have it record to the external drive. After reviewing the drive online I found some reviews that say that by importing the footage to the external drive will result in dropped frames. My question is whcih drive would work for this situation. Thanks in Adavance.

Final Cut Pro doesn't support capturing via USB.
