Found unconscious in the shower...could be that she slipped and hit her head on the way down. That could cause an arrest without any other pathology going on.

Wow, only 32. Very sad.

Sad. I don't know who that poor lady was so my first reaction was to visit IMDb… just to found some disgusting matching still from some movie of her.

It's always tragic when someone beautiful or funny dies.

Don't care so much about unfunny trolls.

Well that's shallow.
How is the death of window dressing more tragic than a nobel laureate or even a police officer? Its more tragic to you because she was young and she gave you a hard on?
Chris Henry's death is going to have more lasting consequences than this and I don't see all the weepiness for that.

I'm about the last person to defend him, but I have to admit I wondered about drugs too. "Cardiac arrest" does happen spontaneously at that age, but at that age it would be foolish not to consider other possible causes, including certain drugs, especially cocaine.

How? Neither are Nobel laureates or even police officers.

I think it's less about tragedy and more about the fact that a relatively young celebrity is dead. It forces you to realize your own mortality. It's one thing for Patrick Swayze to die after a long battle with cancer. It's quite another for a young girl to die so abruptly (especially when her public life has not been plagued with drug use, a la Lindsay Lohan).

Not quite sure how it was rude either. It will be fact in a couple days once everyone gets over their gushing of yet ANOTHER celeb that can't handle their fame. It's not tragic, it's moronic and funny.

Cardiac arrest can happen, at any time, to anybody. You just need to be unlucky.

Instantly assuming drug use, especially if there's no supporting evidence, is a shitty thing to do.

Maybe, but not suspecting drug use at this age means you'd miss the real cause of death in many instances. If the person were 89 years old, you'd be justified to be less suspicious of drug use (unless there was a history of it of course).

Actually, even if was a random joe mshmoe, at age 32 drug use still has to be high on the list of possibilities.

Sarcasm aside, what was so rude about it ?
It's what half of the people here think and said, he was just first.

Apparently, beating up Rob is still some people's favorite sport.

Karen Carpenter also died of cardiac arrest at 32, and it was attributed to her battle with anorexia.

She meant the most to me as Luanne Platter.

Very sad, but it seems obvious in retrospect that Brittany probably wasn't destined for long life - I can recall people commenting that she was even thinner than her child actor co-star Dakota Fanning in that film they did together.

Of course. I agree. I'm not trying to silence anyone. That's why I explicitly said I didn't want to quash discussion of drug use; people just need to show a modicum of tact.

Death is a sensitive subject. I've seen other threads like this turn into really ugly cesspools of cynical "humor," where somebody who actually liked the artist in question could hardly feel welcome to do anything but flame everyone in the thread.

In summary: Drug talk = OK. Trolling = not OK.

Probably. I think most of us saw Clueless a few years earlier. She was great in both, though.
