Tommarrow I am suppose to send the cash off to buy a 23" display and a 1.25ghz tower from someone off ebay. My question is do apple resellers already have the 1.25 towers? because he says he has 4 of them.
I noticed on apple.com that apple is taking 6-8 weeks to send.

Thanks

If they're not shipping from apple i wouldn't send any money to anyone.
ebay or not.
you'll probably never get them and lose your money.

There is no way that auction is real, sorry. The guy is probably going to take your money and run. Don't send it!

Im thinking of buying a tower/display from a company called River Outpost has anyone heard of them?
This was one of their auctions
(They said they have 2 more and are willing to sell me the same set for the same price)

For the love the gods, don't send ANY MONEY. You won't see it ever again, especially when they start wheeling and deeling deposits and make exceptions just for you.

The ONLY way to do eBay is over eScrow or C.O.D. (Cash on delivery.)

Make sure the guy selling understands this. Risk some bad feedback if he doesn't want to do it via COD or eScrow. Especially if he doesn't do it over eScrow. You can reply to bad feedback and explain that the seller refused to use a safe transaction.
