first use of shape shifter...

running on my powerbook while my MBP is in the shop thus why the dock is so tiny!

theme is amunraa recording studios
widgets are
- ichat patroller
- bloc kit cpu
- itunes companion
- moderna calendar
- Flip count
- the rusted clock

Can anyone tell me why, after I change to these icons with Candybar, some of them change back to default when I use the app?

Example: Mail is changed to this icon, but when an email comes in, the icon goes back to default with the number of messages in the corner. Also, when I launch ical, the icon reverts back to default.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
I am trying to add an Hp printer to my emac, its a 10.3 3, and i am the administrator and i know my passwords, when I try to install it, something that comes says, you need higher level adminstrator privilages to install this software

. It is a simple task, why will it not allow me to do this. Any idea or help would be great? Thanks

Joining into this massive thread, here’s mine…

The desktop and Photoshop document both showcase desktops that haven’t been released yet. iTunes is running in shuffle by song mode. The calendar widget is courtesy of Konfabulator (Yahoo! Widget Engine) and is customized for transparency, the font I use in the calendar is GFFuffiger.

im still a noob with macs...but what would be the best FREE way to customize my desktop? these desktops are soooooo cool, im sure i wouldnt be able to do anything as cool with a free program, but i'd still like it to be more customized.

Love the Carbonite Soap! Soapsky was one of my favorite themes - I wouldn't have thought of combining it with Carbonite, but it does create a beautiful and comforting looking theme. Great work!

Looks like a modified version of the BW download here.

In fact you don't even have to do much. Just download the photoshop file on the site and make the "thin strip" layer visible and the "thick strip" layer invisible.
