I have an item on sidebar that wont delete. When right click it, it says sidebar preferences. When I left click it nothing happens. I think it's a folder that has been renamed a while back.

Right-click isn't the same as command-click-drag (poof of smoke).

Yep. They changed it in 10.6, because people were accidentally dragging things off and having them disconcertingly vanish in a puff of smoke.

I was replying to Salty, who suggested something he'd already tried.

My final question, was just: does anyone know why I had a folder that would not leave with the normal right click remove from sidebar?
