There is no forum on earth where Chili Pepper talk is inappropriate! :-]

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

I have RHCP's Woodstock concert on CD. Dave Navarro played with him. He is a kick-ass guitarist.

I'm sorry, but the latest Chili Peppers album blows. I wouldn't go see them unless they were only playing music from BSSM and before.

Navarro...the worst guitarist they ever had IMO and that performence was pretty lack lustered (didn't Navarro's guitar crap out on him during a solo?). Saw the Chili's back in the '80's with Hillal and that was one of the best live shows ever...even hung out with them after the show...they were nuts.

I don't have, and haven't really listened to the new album, but from what I have heard, it isn't bad at all. Also, I liked Californication.

BSSM is my fave Chili Peppers album, though. They played a very nice selection from those three albums, as well as some I didn't recognise, which I'd assume were from Mothers Milk, or One Hot Minute (I have those albums, but don't know them very well).

Put simply? It was incredible.

RCHP is a talented band (in the studio, and for their style, and originality, as well as writing)...

In concert IMHO they blow. They are not good stage performers or musicians.

By musician I mean able to play music well.

But I think they are great writers, original, and in the studio (with the help of a mixing board, and a few Macs ) can produce some great albums.

On the other hand.

I respect Dave Matthews for being a great Musician, good unplugged... but isn't creative. All songs sound the same.

Music is all opinion anyway....

To all going: Enjoy.

I think it's pretty good. "The Zephyr Song" kind of grows on you.
