for people who don't want to wait until "late July. early August" to find out what the marware's sportfolio sleeve looks like, just look inside MacWorld magazine.

it's not on Marware.com, it's not on DrBott.com, but it's on an DrBott's ad on page 33 of the August 2006 issue

it is called the "Sportfolio Deluxe for Macbook" and the ad reads "this sleek, sporty case protects your macbook and features a fully-functional interior including pockets for the power adapter, extra battery, and even custom pockets for your remote and ipod. use it with the accompanying fully-padded shoulder strap and carry it as a folio or briefcase style."

the picture is an exterior short at an angle, but what shocks me is that the case looks big and thick. If you've seen the previous sportfolio sleeves, you know they are minimalists and really thin. not that much more thicker than the actual laptop it is protecting.

the macbook marware sportfolio looks twice as thick as what you expect it to be. as if they made it extra thick to accomodate the extra interior pockets.

i don't have a scanner, but if you have the issue, check it out, or if you have the "digital subscription" please take a screen shot and post it. i think a lot of people are anxious about the marware bag. maybe it is time to move on to a different brand

for those who are interested, the picture in this ebay auction is exactly what the ad in macworld looks like. it certainly does not look slim like the previous sportfolios

If that price+shipping on ebay is the MSRP for this bag, thats not bad at all for what it offers.
