Yes, the system requirements clearly state that you need a MBP with an ExpressCard slot.

SH is correct. That page isn't exactly clear, but if you check "Mac compability" in the sidebar, you'll see that it requires a 15" 17" MBP with an ExpressCard slot, or an MP with PCIe.

PCIe actually defines an external version of the standard, though - essentially, a special port - which might be able to do something like this. I've never seen a real product that makes use of it, however.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Ah, I see. They must have updated the specs. They had told me some time ago that Qio would connect via eSATA, but that was before it was even on their web site.
Oh well. PCI extender makes more sense anyway. Guess I should have read the specs before posting.
