Legendary Hollywood director John Frankenheimer, who helmed such films as The Manchurian Candidate and The Birdman of Alcatraz, died Saturday in a Los Angeles hospital. He was 72. Frankenheimer died of a stroke at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he had undergone spinal surgery.

Dang.
The Lord said 'Peter, I can see your house from here.'

Rent "Seconds" if you've never seen it. A visually amazing movie and quite thought-provoking too. That's always the movie I think of when I hear of John Frankenheimer.
Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them.
