Just thought I'd throw this out. Goodwills, Salvation Armys and other thrift stores are a great place to get old computing equipment of all sorts. Dirt cheap. Systems of all sorts for peanuts, printers, modems, keyboards, mice, software, you name it. Not necessarily that old either. Lots of big companies donate fairly new computers when they upgrade since they get the tax deduction. Some of the bigger stores have huge departments run by knowledgeable techs (they make good money on this). My old ADB keyboard just gave out, so I headed on down and bought one in perfect shape for $2. They have stacks of them. Gotta love it.

I buy Mac things at thrift stores, but the downside to the low prices is a) that a lot of it is broken beyond repair and b) they won't let you return it. Sometimes it is worth the risk, sometimes not.

I think I will. I got a 7100 with an extra 16 MB of RAM, 256 MB hard drive, 2x internal CD ROM drive, 15" Mointor, keyboard, mouse, PDS video card, and AAUI to ethernet adapter all for $25 at one of my school's Surplus sales (BTW, it was in perfect working condition).

The Mac Information Depot. Why go anywhere else?
