hello

Im soon to get a PB 15" with combo dr.

Id like to know if this PB will support an ext firewire pioneer DVD-R 8x drive.

the internal pioneers 8X are in the local Frys for about $250. Id like to plan on an ext 8X firewire DVD-R for this set up in the future.

I know there are "burning" issues re ext DVD-R and iDVD and Final Cut Exp. I have the current versions of these two programs but would want to run them off a fast ext DVD-R if possible onthe PB 15"

whats the view on this out there?

thanks Tocca
