Has anyone tried using AutoCAD on a Mac Pro?
Were there any issues with compatibility or speed?
Thank you in advance for the courtesy of a reply.

Er, in Boot Camp or Parallels? In Boot Camp it would obviously be quite fast.

CatOne -
Thanks for the reply albeit a question.
In "Boot Camp" or "Parallels", either, or would be my reply. I was led to believe that AutoCAD would probably have to run in "Boot Camp", booting up in Windows specifically. This is mostly conjecture on the part of Apple and Apple affiliates. Hence my question to those who may have actually tried running the software.
Thanks again for your response, look forward to hearing from you.

At the moment it isn't likely to run very well in Parallels because it won't have full access to the graphics card, and as AutoCAD is a 3D app, this will impact on its performance. However, I have no experience with it, so perhaps it runs OK enough to be usable.
