Let's face it... Yeah it's from the other side, yes we don't do Windows around here, yes we just love our Macs... But let's face it, sometimes we do find ourselves stunned by some wonderful GUI work being done on other OS's. Such as this one I came across today:

neOSB

I admit it, I think it's gorgeous. Do you have guilty pleasures too? Let's see 'em!!!

longagoinaOS - we all have forgot [OS7.6] - there lived an extension called "Church Windows" one of its selections was SunSolaris, and it went a little something like this:

http://www.gunfleet.com/solaris/images/opwin1_png.jpg
at the time working on a SunSparc server I loved the simplicity.

Later SunSparc would endorse other interface looks. There is another thread here that discussed porting the MacSolaris K-Scheme... but it is more than that. It is the workspaces control that is so powerful. I know the people here may not like this one but
http://www.gunfleet.com/solaris/images/cde1_png.jpg

hell it my guilty pleasure - yes - competely.

If one was to spend some quality time at Stardock you could find some incredible skins by Treetog,Bose,Hippy,Brewman,Voodoo Freak ,Essorant, and many more.Of course many skins are forgetable but there are many worth the port to Mac,just an observation.

Dudes,
this is supposed to be a thread about things some people like outside of the Mac world, not about things some people hate about things other people like Did that make any sense? HeHe - anyway, what I want to tell you is: stop bitching! Climb out of your little box sometime and look around - there's much more out there in the world than you and your Mac ... There are 6 billion people out there, and many of them have very different tastes from yours. Let them share their thoughts, ok?

That's not the point!!!

I might be mistaken, but when did I call this thread Please review these screenshots?
This was meant to share things that you find cool outside of the Macintosh community

Should've known that the Mac-Qaeda crowd would turn this into a negativity fest, as usual...

Hey, I think this is awesome!!!
