I just can't believe I misplaced it. I'm pretty sure it's in my bedroom, some place, but it's not in the dresser drawer where it should be. The "it" in question is my Swiss Champ Swiss Army Knife, which my father got for me as a kid. I'm about 90% sure it's in my bedroom because I recall having it there the last time I used it, but after searching for a couple of days without success I'm getting rather agitated. Darn it!

Sit down, close your eyes and retrace your steps the last you had it in your hands.

Check your pockets in all your pants and jackets. Check the lint trap in the dryer. Check the fridge. Check your car's floor.

i "feel your pain, man!®" - a couple of weeks ago i lost my trusty leatherman, which i *always* have somewhere about my person - or near to hand. i felt naked without it. eventually i found it in the back pocket of a pair of jeans i'd thrown in the washing basket, forgetting to empty the pockets first.

I hate when people say that, it soooo never works.

Poster- If its still in the house you'll come across it eventually. Happens to me all the time—I'm somewhat of a messy slob lately.

No, I make a habit of continuing to look for a lost item even after finding it.
