So I got bootcamp to install before and then decided to delete it. Now that I have more ram and lots of space on my hard drive I want to try it out. The only problem is the error you see below.

How in the hell do I get around this error?

Yes I am fully updated. Are there some files I should clear out and try installing again?

Macbook CD 2.0ghz

Have you read this thread yet?

What version of Boot Camp are you using? What firmware versions are you running?

I am up to date on everything. I have the newest firmware, software, ect. I have tried everything in the book, repaired permissions, safe mode, ect. I think I need to get my hands on an earlier version of bootcamp because 1.2 just isnt working out for me.

Here's a suggestion: Boot from your OS X disc and select Disk Utility from the "Tools" menu. Now select your boot disk and choose "repair." Repair the whole thing. This problem may be more of a "the disk isn't quite right" than a "the firmware is wrong" issue. And it sure can't hurt to do it anyway.
