I am getting an error each time Entourage quits. The error is:

"Can't set read status of every message of folder id 185 to read."

Can someone tell me what this means and how to fix it? I have rebuilt the databases using both methods but no luck.

Thanks in advance

That looks a bit like an AppleScript message.

Do you have a Schedule (Tools menu) set up to run "on Quit"?

I had the same problem with some of my archived folders, which changed message read statuses to unread in some cases, and I then couldn't change them to read.

Still haven't fixed the problem, but I've been using Mail for quite a while now.

Thank you for your advice. Yes, I had an applescript to run to delete the contents of my junk mail folder. Once I shut it off, the error message went away.

Now to see why the applescript is no good.

Thanks again.
