Greetings,
Does anyone have any suggestions on a simple temperature/humidity reader-type device to be put in a server room?
the room only contains one server. Nothing super fancy is needed, just a very simplistic device.
The only device I've found is this one .....
http://practsol.com/thum.htm
the extra features (emailing, etc.) are cool, but not absolutely necessary ......
any suggestions?

If you search for "temperature humidity sensor" you'll get tons of hits. I've seen devices for as little as about $45 to over $200 in just a few minutes of browsing.
What you get should depend on how worried you are about the environmental controls in the server room, and how critical it might be to secure the server if there's a problem. You still have a huge selection of products to choose from.
