Got the battery the other day. Here are things i've noticed

build quality is 90% of what the mac OEM battery is, meaning that the "meter" button is a little "off" and the battery is a bit loose in the powerbook.

capacity is at 4182, my apple battery was @ 4400 when I got it brand new, so I don't see how these "hold" more juice.

I have correctly charged it, and it works GREAT but my previous battery sucked, so ANYTHING would have been an improvement.

I may be returning it to buy an APPLE OEM.

I've seen a couple of NuPowr batteries and I'd have to agree with you on the build quality. I love OWC and have been impressed by NewerTech before, but the fit and finish is just lacking a bit. I'd still consider them for batteries for a Pismo, just because theirs are so much better in capacity, but that's only because Apple ones aren't available anymore.
