Whats the best/most user friendly way of stealing music in MP3 form. ?
I have been using poisoned but its not that user friendly, napster was good....what is everyone using for this purpose these days ?
I have to get something back from the fees that I pay for my recently aquired broadband service
, and also, - ( I dont care about copyright or the moral issues, before anyone even starts mentioning it , dont bother. - what you never taped anything ? )

Xnap seems to have some of the best tracks around, especially hard to find ones. It's not a great program in itself, but it gets the job done.
Then there's mlmac, grab version .7 and you should be a happy bunny.

[quote]Wow. You're really making friends here.[quote/]
what just because i said that i dont want to hear people going on about the morals of not stealing music........ (reminds me of the how many macnn members to change a lightbulb thread ) - whats wrong with being direct and too the point - i dont want to hear it , and thats that ... you are the one with the problem here.

To me, rare stuff means metal from scandanavia and surrounding countries - DirectConnect is unbeatable.
For anything else, I use mlmac, which connects to edonkey, fasttrack, soulseek, DC and integrates them all into a nice gui. I don't know how they do DC, but it's based on the mlnet daemon, so you can find more info there. mlmac is a simple double-click application that takes care of all the tricky stuff for you.

Tape? Who uses analog tape anymore.
Here's how you steal high quality music, and get free CD to boot.
1) Walk into a music store.
2) Tell the cashier to dodge this (make sure you hit directly in the middle of the forehead).
3) Grab and fill your bags with CD.
4) Calmly drive away.

Hey, as long as we're on the subject, I was planning to rob my local Office Depot. What's the best way? Are the employees armed? Any silent alarms I should know about? I just want to get some items, what with just having purchased a laser printer.
And also, I don't care about the moral issues, before anyone even starts mentioning it, don't bother. What, you never stole pens from work before?
Piss off, ibod. I hope they bring Hilary Rosen out of retirement to get you.

Office Depot employees are not armed.
The easiest way is to just break in at around 3 a.m. Have your "shopping list" all ready and move fast, and you'll be long gone before the silent alarms bring the cops.
I am not aware of any software that can assist you, but a .357 magnum can be useful hardware.

Jesus Christ, our childish comments? You came to this forum, and, in explicit violation of forum rules, asked for suggestion for commiting a crime. And we're childish? And you're free to live by your own "morality", but we're also free to live by ours, and mine does not include aiding and abetting thieves.
And does my mom own a post office? What the hell does that even mean? Is that some kind of British insult I'm not familiar with? Good god, you certainly do suck.
Come on, Demonhood, where's Trogdor's Eternal Fire of Bannination when you need it?

Whats wrong with good old sharing of the wealth anyway..... ? a real question now, come on let me know I am interested in your moral judgement , and why you feel the need to support organised fraud , as the music industry have had a momopoly on price for years.
Also while we are on the subject of comsumer piss takes ..... why dont we get quality goods for our hard earned money, they are designed to go wrong after the guarantee runs out.... or your car will rust, what they cant build one good enough ? a cd for 15.....its cheap **** .
You like keeping the economy going I take it ...
ban this if you want , who cares anyway..... where for art thou opinion?

you'll have to find your pirated music elsewhere. because really, who wants to listen to that "arrrr!" "shiver me timbers!" and "my parrot is my lover!" crap all day. if you ask me, that genre really lost steam when eminem did a cover of "my third leg is made of wood" by yellowbeard.

The lockination seems to have been pickenated because this thread is open. Besides, someone in this thread needs a serious bannination.
