have a problem with Safari constantly crashing in 10.4.2, Tiger v2.0. It happens almost every single time I cmd-w a window closed, but also happens randomly. Anyone else experiencing this? Any fixes?

Edit: and also, when I try to report the crash to apple, it doesn't work. Grrr.

Many people with Safari hacks (in Input Managers) installed reported this problem after updating to Tiger. Uninstall those hacks (or look for newer versions).

yeah, normally that's the first thing I'd suspect but I don't have any hacks installed......escept I unlocked the debug menu -- i'll try getting rid of that.

I just changed my GF FX5200 to ATI 9600XT on my Dual 1.8 PM G5 running Tiger 10.4.2 and Safari crashes more often now.
You think that has something to do with it?
Here's my crash log file :
Safari(210,0xa000ef98) malloc: *** error for object 0x1b3b600: incorrect checksum for freed object - object was probably modified after being freed, break at szone_error to debug
Safari(210,0xa000ef98) malloc: *** set a breakpoint in szone_error to debug

That's not the crash log. It tells you where to find the crash log though. Post a complete log for one of the Safari crashes including loaded libraries.
