My Mighty Mouse has a mind of its own! It's only 2 weeks old and even on a mousepad is constantly moving when I'm not touching anything. Is this a known issue or does it just really stink on a lot of surfaces?

mine is fine on all the surfaces I've used it on, the only time is moves by itself is when it is half off of the mousemat.

There are laser mouses that trail upwards some times, but I've only ever seen it go up.

I have the blue tooth mighty. Its good but not precise, not even as good as $8 local brand wired mouse. What I am trying to say is, its curser doesnt move evenly. If I am moving long distance, like moving from title bar to an icon at the bottom is OK, but if I am moving it item by item on a list, it annoys
by not evenly moving as I am sliding the mouse and it either slows down or jumps over to the third item. Its like watching a video with frame lagging.
I hope this makes my point clear. So, any of you guys faced this in your wireless mouse?

I've never had that problem, sorry. But that should be something you could go to Apple with.

My Mighty Mouse cursor will move itself when the laser thing is on the edge of the mousepad.
