It is possible to overclock any processor, that being said I am pretty sure no one has discovered(reverse engineered)the clock for that model to my knowledge. Overclocking in laptops is rather uncommon for a variety of reasons.
1. Hard to expand cooling system
2. already limited cooling system
3. Hard to open enough to reach the processor

Yea, with the old g3 laptops, overclocking was a pretty good viable action. I had a 333 mhz ibook (clamshell of course) and I had that thing running at 400 mhz with no sweat. I think it just ran a few degrees hotter. But with these new g4 units, I think they run hot enough already, there is likely no leeway left for overclocking. Especially considering they already have fans in the units, and the internal stuff is so tightly packed... no extra cooling can be added.

There is this link which will tell you how to OC a 867Mhz Tibook. I would image that the Alubook is quite a bit different, but you may be able to find some common ground.

867 to 1Ghz isn't going to do a whole lot, performance-wise. Adding more ram would do better to improve performance.

Those babies get hot enough at 867MHz, overclocking it take the unit out of thermal specifications for reliable running.
Besides that, one of the reasons the 867 is relatively slow compared to the other Powerbooks is the reduced cache size - 256KB IIRC compared with at least 512KB on other models.
