Hello,
I have asked here about the Deep Sleep problem I have on my iMac and os 9.2.2.
On MacNN forum I have advised to disable the Energy Saver CP., since the force restart I had to do in order to wake it up, is dangerous to my machine.
My question:
I have disabled the Energy Saver CP., but the machine continues to go sleep.
So, I have trashed its preferences, Zapped the PRAM, and rebuilt desktop.
Still the machine goes to sleep.
What can be done?
TIA
Raymond

Raymond,

If you wanted to keep the topic alive, just post at the bottom of the old topic with the word
"bump"

so that it will come up to the top of the forums page.

As it is, this question is getting into more of a Mac OS question, so I'm going to move it there, where people with more knowledge than I can answer.

Toda,

Victor

Turn Energy Saver on. Open up the control panel and set the Sleep options to Never. This can be done ONLY through changing the Energy Saver settings, not disabling it or throwing away the preferences.
