Hi there ...
I had downloaded Mac OS 9.2.2 Update without Software Update ... This is because I want to update more than one of my systems ... Downloading twice waste the money ... However ... the updater not working ... saying that I need a localized version ... Is there anyway to update both system without dowloading twice?
Thanks in advance! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Hi Pikachu_G4e,
You definitely want to download the correct version localized for your region. there are workarounds to get the the English version to work for other regions, but know of problems that can happen (ie, wrong paper sizes becoming default, and other misc. things).
IMO, I would definitely say to take the time to download the proper version
good luck,
dave

No. Just move it from one to the other, if they use the same system.
But I don't recommend you update anyway. It won't cause anything but problems. But... eh. Your problem if you decide to, not mine.

what do you mean cause problems? I've been running 9.2.2 only (no X yet) without problem since it was released.

Use this script to get a better look at the log entries:
tell application "Finder"
read file "Macintosh HD:System Folder references:Software Update Logs"
end tell
