I know this is long shot, but I'm looking for a working PowerMac G5 Quad (2.5GHz) w/ at least 512MB Ram, 40GB HDD, SuperDrive and working video card for about $400 (List Price according to Mac2Sell). I don't care about RAM and HDD, as I'll toss those in myself. Anyway, if you have one to get rid of, then let me know.

Good luck with that man, the cheapest config on eBay that matches your specs is $1100 (#200355513932, not my auction).

Given that the Mac Pro in this thread is $1550 http://forums.macnn.com/59/marketpla...quad-2-66-ghz/ I don't think it is a crazy price at all. That and the imacs you can buy from the refurb store must have really driven down the price of the G5s.

I found some on ebay for about $500, but I figured since I don't need the OS, HDDs, or Ram, that I should be able to find something on the cheap.
