Whenever I use IE on to browse the web in Windows, it never feels right unless I have IE maximized. If I use Opera or Firefox, the window is never maximized. On the Mac, the only time a browser window takes up the full screen is when some idiot uses JavaScript in his page.

Anyone else feel this way; that IE in Windows only feels 'right' maximized?

I have Safari maximized on my Mac at all times. The joys of tabbed browsing makes that possible. It also makes me feel like a big man to have a big window.

i think it's because it just doesn't look clean on a pc unless everything's spaced out...

I maximize IE windows on the PC, however my Safari windows are stretched out as vertical as they go, almost fully horizontal too, so I can keep it like this all the time.

Maximise Safari on a Cinema HD? I don't think so!

I usually have firefox on the pc taking up a large square in the middle, generally longer in the vertical. Same goes on the Mac with safari. Usually works most of the time, but you get the odd webpage that needs stretching horizontaly.
