I noticed this neat new shareware app on versiontracker for organizing bookmarks in a safari drawer. It's a new developer, and he's open to suggestions on where to take this app. I'm hoping he gets enough response to keep developing it, cuz the current bookmark organization in safari pretty much sucks.
Check it out here http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/25170

Yeah, I tried it out a couple days ago, it was pretty interesting. It didn't import all my current bookmarks in it, so it was a little clunky at first.
What I would really love to see is omniweb's tab drawer implementation combined with bookmarks, combined with a search bar at the top, for searching the bookmarks.

ummmmm....no, not a developer. Just a big gui fan and a fan of good shareware apps, and thought both forums might find this interesting.
If your asking if I'm trying to get the word out as much as I can....dam straight. Iv'e been hoping for something like this for safari for a while, and would hate to see the developer ****can if for lack of interest.

Huh!? The forum police ? Who? Where? I better get out.
Although I have to say that it's a nice app. Will have to tinker with it a bit more.

Bookmark organization in Safari sucks? Pretty much all the browsers are going to use Apple's bookmark organization because it's so logical - OmniWeb switched to Apple's method and soon FireFox will. Wouldn't surprise me to see MS change IE to use it in Longhorn.
Even Apple is moving away from the (kinda silly) drawer (IMHO) - just look at the rumors sites that have screenshots of the next version of Mail.app. No drawer anymore.
So someone wants to add a drawer to safari? Um, no way.

This has nothing to do with gui, and you already have a thread on this. I can understand being excited about something, but you're likely to be the developer, or know the developer.

Sigh.....For the last time, I'm not the developer. I don't know the developer, and I wouldn't want to be a developer. I can't even code an applescript. But if it will make the forum nazis happy, please direct any further comments to the similar thread over in the software forums. Apparantly, gui customization only applies to tweaking themes and messing with the dock, not adding functional interface items to software that needs it.

Cool. I like it.
(And BTW, " GUI" stands for Graphical User Interface.)
Kinda looks like a GUI to me.
[Edit] And look at what ResExcellence is currently showcasing on their homepage..
