I'm looking into this model for my nephews so they can start using better computer than PC, do you guys think for $400 it's good deal for that model? thanks for any advice!.

A strong deal on what is still a good machine. The Intel Macs are best, but the late model G5's should be great for lots of tasks, and the display on those 20" models is really nice. If it's a clean used example with no problems, then definitely worth the money.

for $400 you could get a decent imac g5 17", a 20" one would be another 200 bucks or so

Good deal, just watch for swollen capacitors in those G5 Models... if you don't know search "swollen capacitors G5 iMac" on google.

1.8 GHz 20" must be Rev A, the one without the ambient light sensor.

Guys, I actually bought it and it was the last version of 1.8 G5. Even though would prefer the intel based but for a start this won't be to bad at all for kids to get familiar with mac system. Thanks anyway for the inputs and have a nice evening!.
