Wow.

Some of those are really good.

(Some are really terrible.)

And Massachusetts should be in court for false advertising and/or wire fraud.

"It's all here".

No. I'm not there. Munich isn't there. Neither is Pampalone Beach. Or Nastassja Kinski. Or the Ferrari factory. Or... You get the drift.

Maybe there should be a new thread - things that aren't in Massachusetts. It'd be the longest thread in history.

I guess both are working with the elements of:

Looks more like a ploughed field to me.

That was my impression too. But I'm from Iowa.

That works, too.

The sun rising/fertile field/seeds of hope - whatever floats your boat; it's all there.

The Midwest sees it as a field, which imbues Obama with a positive connotation even in the Bible belt...

Really quite an excellent logo, whether you agree politically or not.

Congratulations to NY and Virginia. I'm familiar with both of them. Since my childhood.

It's funny how logo-ey most of those are. I think a lot of this will (or do already) look very dated.

It's a freaking state. Go for something more timeless. They all look like logos for startup consulting companies or something random like that.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I really like the ones for Georgia and Texas. The rest of them are pretty lame, although New York should never change theirs... "I <3 NY" is pretty iconic.

I find the concept of branding a state pretty ridiculous. The worst part are the stupid corporate taglines. Blech.

Nebraska: Possibilities... endless

Really Nebraska? Really?

Ohio: The State of Perfect Balance

What the hell does this even mean?

Kansas: As Big as you think

That's what she said...

Let's Talk Colorado

No, actually, let's not.

New Hampshire: You're going to love it here

Not from what I've heard

CONNECTICUT

Makes me want to cut myself

Virginia is for lovers

...Still the stupidest tagline ever

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

Actually, my week in New Hampshire was awesome. For outdoors activities, NH has a lot to love. I toured a few high end craftsman woodworking shops while I was there as well and was very inspired.

I loved it in New Hampshire.

Well, my wife lived there for a few years and she absolutely hated it. Then again, she married me, so her taste may be in question.

Some people are just "grass is greener"-type of people. My cousin is one of them. He always thinks the next place he lives will be ooddles better than than place he is currently living. Is your wife happy where she is living now?

Yes, she is pretty happy here in good old St. Louis. She hated it here at first, but it grew on her. She also loved it in Maryland.

It was more of a goofy jab then anything. No state in this great country is a crappy place to live. It just depends on what you are looking for.

Well, besides Wisconsin. F*** Wisconsin.

There are parts of Oklahoma that would be better used as toxic waste dumps.

who think that they gon' move weight here
Ironic:
the same place I'm makin figures at?
That there's the same land they used to hang ****** at
...in Virginia!
Mankind's only chance is to harness the power of stupid.
